About Colleen

Mrs. Jones is a Certified NILD Educational Therapist in private practice and specializes in Learning Disabilities, Dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning-related issues. She believes that every child can be a competent learner and seeks to maximize each student’s learning potential.
Colleen received a B.S. degree in Child Development and an M.Ed. in Special Education. She also received a general education, learning disability, reading/ language arts specialist, along with a math credential (grades 6-9). In addition, she is trained in Orton-Gillingham, and is a National Institute for Learning Development (NILD) Certified Educational Therapist. Colleen has over 20 years of educational experiences in grades K-12, and was an online part-time Education Instructor for Central Piedmont Community College.
